Flyboy Conner!

Well, I took Conner on his first flight the other day. He loved it! We brought along a "Sic-Sac" in case of any issues, but Conner did great! He said "Now I want to be a pilot when I grow up", so I did my duty! He said his favorite part was the takeoff, because "we went so fast!" It was fun having him up there. When we would bank into a turn, he said it looked like the wing was touching the ground, but he knew it wasn't because we were so high. I told him he would need to help pay for the flight, and he said he only had a dollar. I told him I was joking, but when we got into the truck to head home, he said "so do you want the dollar now, Dad?" He was pretty nice. Anywho, it was fun.

Prescott Air Show

We took the kids to their first air show on Saturday(10-6). They had fun, but not as much fun as their dad! We saw some old war birds like the P-51 Mustang, and the B-25 Mitchell Bomber. We also had a "Heritage Flight" with the A-10 "Warthog" Thunderbolt(see pic) and a P-51 to show the old and the new.

There were quite a few aerobatic performances, and they had some pyrotechnics for when the B-25 did a "bomb" run. That was pretty cool. They had some old soviet jets that were purchased by private owners, one of whom owns the Ford dealership here in Prescott. They were fun to see as well.

We forgot our camera, so we don't have any pics of their first airshow to show you. I already had the photo of these Warthogs. Oh well, we still had a good time.

Conner's HUGE gap!

Well, Conner lost his second tooth on Sunday (4-22)! It apparently always happens on a Sunday. It was pretty loose, and we were trying to convince him to let us pull it out, but....

Anywho, he finally decided it was time, and said he wanted me to pull it out. So, I simply grabbed the tooth with my fingers, and popped it out! He said ouch, and then said that it didn't hurt. Anywho, his face was priceless, and his laugh was hilarious.

He now has a two-tooth gap in his bottom teeth. He still hasn't given the tooth to the Tooth Fairy because he wants to keep it. Maybe he'll change his mind about that later:)

Conner's Front Teeth

Conner just lost his first tooth a week ago, Sunday. He was chewing on some hard chips, and then he said his tooth was gone, and he didn't know where it was. We tried to explain to him that he must have swallowed it, and he got very sad. He was crying because he wanted to see his tooth out of his mouth. I suggested he check his poop for the next little while, but we decided that might not be worth it.

He wrote a note to the Tooth Fairy explaining what happened, and put that under his pillow. The Tooth Fairy understood, and left some money. Anywho...

School

Well, I'm heading back to school again...Finally! I should start the Summer A Semester barring any issues. I need to get 'r done, and quit dragging my feet. I'll be flying again, so that'll be cool. It's been too long since I've flown, and it'll be nice to get back in the air.

Anywho, this is my second test blog.
